Invigorating Football Fans with adidas and Legitimate

We recently partnered with adidas on an engaging Scavenger Hunt that engaged Football Fans at the “Home of adidas Football” Fanzone event in Berlin, Germany during June and July.

The gamified experience leveraged our cutting-edge technology in an experiential way, crucially integrating with the adidas member experience and engaging fans with rewarding prizes.

Results

With our Legitimate NFC Tags hidden throughout the pop-up venue, consumers had to track down a collection of badges to complete the scavenger hunt and win prizes.

This wasn’t just another static landing page either, rather the Legitimate technology was seamlessly integrated into adidas’s member app, providing a consumer-first, trusted experience.

For four weeks, thousands of fans attended the pop-up event, scouring the venue to track down badges, keeping them on-site and highly engaged. This strategy gave adidas an engaging and meaningful way to keep fans challenged and surprised, as they completed the steps and entered to win game tickets, memorabilia and more.

This collaboration between adidas and Legitimate isn’t just a case study; it’s a blueprint for how brands can further engage consumers during experiential moments, at in-store locations, and across cities and places of interest.
